Geotechnical Project Manager

A well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to lead geotechnical investigations and engineering solutions for a variety of infrastructure and development projects. The Geotechnical Project Manager will oversee project planning, technical analysis, and client coordination while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage geotechnical engineering projects from investigation through final reporting
• Plan and oversee subsurface investigations, field testing, and laboratory analysis
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports, foundation recommendations, and engineering analyses
• Provide design recommendations related to foundations, earthwork, and soil stability
• Coordinate with civil engineers, structural engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Conduct site visits and provide field support during construction phases
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
• Experience managing geotechnical investigations and engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and site development
• Experience preparing geotechnical reports and engineering recommendations
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field required
