A well-established advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager to take on a meaningful role across a diverse and growing book of business. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional who is ready to step into a leadership capacity, work directly with clients, and contribute technically at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, and estates
• Lead and support tax planning engagements for individuals and closely held businesses
• Serve as a day-to-day technical resource for clients and internal staff on complex tax matters
• Review work prepared by junior staff for accuracy, completeness, and proper treatment
• Research tax issues and stay current on relevant IRS guidance and regulatory developments
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable service
• Mentor and support the development of junior staff
Required Qualifications
• Active CPA license required
• (6-10)years of public accounting experience with a strong tax focus
• Solid technical knowledge across individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, trusts, and estates
• Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing complex federal and state tax returns
• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and contributing to advisory conversations beyond compliance
• Proficiency with tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar platforms
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting platforms preferred
• Strong communication skills and a client-service mindset
