We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, and serve as the on-site leader from project start through closeout.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and owners to resolve issues and keep projects on track
  • Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and communicate project expectations
  • Review and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation
  • Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets company and client standards
  • Assist with project closeout, punch list completion, and final inspections


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Proven experience managing projects such as [office, healthcare, education, multi-family, etc.]
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience)
