A respected California law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with strong civil litigation experience and meaningful trial exposure to join its growing team. The firm handles a diverse range of construction, surety, commercial, and business litigation matters, offering attorneys the opportunity to take on substantive responsibility and gain hands-on courtroom experience.



Responsibilities:

• Handle matters through all stages of litigation, from inception through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties

Qualifications:

• California Bar admission in good standing
• Strong civil litigation experience
• Trial exposure is strongly preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and work effectively as part of a team
• Experience in construction, surety, commercial, or business litigation is a plus
