Commercial Lender

A well-established regional banking institution with a strong commercial presence is seeking a Commercial Lender to support continued growth within its market. The Commercial Lender will focus on developing new business relationships, structuring customized credit solutions, and managing an existing portfolio while maintaining disciplined underwriting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and middle-market lending relationships
• Proactively originate commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate loan opportunities
• Structure and negotiate credit facilities including lines of credit, term loans, and real estate financing
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk
• Prepare and present loan packages and recommendations to loan committee
• Monitor portfolio performance to ensure strong asset quality and regulatory compliance
• Cross-sell treasury management and deposit products to deepen client relationships
• Participate in business development and community engagement initiatives
• Maintain ongoing client communication and advisory support

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial lending experience within a banking environment
• Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth
• Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting expertise
• Experience managing C&I and commercial real estate transactions
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and lending policies
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Established local business network preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
