  • Represent employers in employment litigation in state and federal courts
  • Defend claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination
  • Handle matters before administrative agencies including EEOC, DOL, and related state agencies
  • Draft and argue substantive motions and manage all phases of discovery
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and Title VII
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide risk mitigation strategies
  • Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies
  • Provide day-to-day counseling to HR professionals and executive leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of labor and employment law experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing employment litigation matters
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Experience drafting dispositive motions and overseeing discovery
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a national team
  • Strong client counseling skills with a practical, business-oriented mindset
  • Active admission to at least one state bar in good standing
