Senior Electrical Engineer

A highly specialized engineering and technical consulting firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support complex industrial and infrastructure projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design efforts, provide technical oversight, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and reliable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering design for industrial and infrastructure projects
• Develop electrical system designs including power distribution, controls, and instrumentation
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documentation
• Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and equipment selections
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project managers
• Participate in site visits, commissioning activities, and project troubleshooting
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Support project planning, scheduling, and client communication

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments
• Strong experience with power distribution systems, controls, and electrical design
• Proficiency with electrical design software and engineering documentation tools
• Experience leading engineering efforts on complex or multi-disciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or progress toward licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
