Commercial Lender (Hybrid/Remote Opportunity)

Our client, a growth-oriented and relationship-driven financial institution, is seeking a Commercial Lender to join its expanding commercial banking platform in a hybrid or remote capacity. The Commercial Lender will focus on originating new commercial relationships while managing an existing portfolio, structuring tailored credit solutions, and maintaining strong asset quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and middle-market lending relationships
• Proactively originate commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate loan opportunities
• Structure and negotiate credit facilities including lines of credit, term loans, and owner-occupied real estate financing
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk
• Prepare and present credit packages to loan committee
• Monitor portfolio performance to ensure compliance and strong asset quality
• Cross-sell treasury management and deposit solutions to deepen client relationships
• Maintain consistent client communication through both in-person and virtual engagement
• Participate in market development and networking initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial lending experience within a banking environment
• Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth
• Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting skills
• Experience managing C&I and commercial real estate transactions
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote structure
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and lending policies
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
