Commercial Relationship Manager

Our client, a growth-oriented and entrepreneurial financial institution, is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to join its expanding commercial banking team. The organization is known for its responsive credit culture, strategic market focus, and commitment to building long-term business partnerships. The Commercial Relationship Manager will focus on originating and managing commercial lending relationships while serving as a trusted advisor to business clients and driving overall market growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and middle-market client relationships
  • Proactively originate commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate lending opportunities
  • Structure and negotiate customized credit facilities including lines of credit and term loans
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk
  • Prepare and present credit packages and recommendations to loan committee
  • Maintain ongoing portfolio monitoring to ensure strong asset quality
  • Cross-sell treasury management and deposit products to deepen client relationships
  • Participate in networking, business development, and community engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with credit and operations teams to ensure efficient loan processing and closing


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial banking or relationship management experience
  • Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth
  • Strong credit analysis and underwriting expertise
  • Experience managing C&I and commercial real estate transactions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate independently within a performance-driven environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and lending policies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
