We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Site Construction to lead and deliver complex site development and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in earthwork, grading, utilities, roadways, and site development, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple heavy civil/site construction projects from award through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Oversee project setup, permitting, and mobilization
• Monitor job costs, production rates, and project profitability
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contract administration
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety standards
• Review plans, specifications, and identify potential risks or value engineering opportunities
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Support field teams including Superintendents and Foremen to drive productivity and quality
• Ensure successful project closeout, including punch list and final documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 5–10+ years of experience in heavy civil or site construction project management
• Proven experience managing projects involving grading, excavation, utilities, paving, and/or roadway construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project), and cost control
• Experience with estimating and preconstruction is a plus
• Proficient in project management software (Procore, Viewpoint, HCSS, or similar)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
