Senior Labor and Employment Attorney

A well-established litigation firm with a strong national presence is seeking a Senior Labor and Employment Attorney to join its growing practice. The firm represents employers in complex workplace disputes and provides strategic counsel on labor and employment matters across a variety of industries. This opportunity offers senior-level litigation responsibility, meaningful client engagement, and the ability to work on sophisticated employment matters within a highly regarded legal platform.

The Senior Labor and Employment Attorney will lead employment litigation matters while advising clients on compliance, workplace disputes, and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage labor and employment litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and other substantive filings
• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses
• Manage discovery strategy including written discovery and document review
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
• Provide strategic counsel on employment law compliance and workplace policies
• Assist with internal investigations and employment-related risk management
• Prepare cases for trial including witness preparation and litigation strategy development
• Mentor junior attorneys and support team collaboration on complex matters

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience managing complex employment litigation matters
• Proven ability to draft and argue substantive motions
• Deposition and courtroom experience required
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Active admission to the applicable state bar in good standing
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
