Real Estate Associate Attorney

A sophisticated and growth-oriented law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its transactional practice. The firm represents developers, investors, lenders, and business owners in a wide range of commercial real estate matters and is known for delivering strategic legal counsel on complex transactions. This opportunity offers meaningful client interaction, exposure to sophisticated deal work, and long-term professional growth within a collaborative and highly regarded legal environment.


The Real Estate Associate Attorney will support a variety of transactional matters involving acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development projects while working closely with senior attorneys and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial real estate transaction documents
  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing transactions
  • Conduct due diligence reviews including title, survey, zoning, and organizational documents
  • Assist with transaction structuring and risk analysis
  • Coordinate with lenders, opposing counsel, title companies, and other transaction stakeholders
  • Review and analyze purchase agreements, loan documents, and lease agreements
  • Support transaction closings and post-closing matters
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding transaction progress and legal strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of real estate transactional experience in a law firm environment
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate documents
  • Familiarity with acquisitions, leasing, financing, and development transactions
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Active admission to the applicable state bar in good standing
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
