We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a growing commercial general contractor in the St. Louis area. This role will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple projects across a variety of commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
• Lead project planning, subcontractor selection, and procurement processes
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and challenges
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
• Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
• Conduct regular site visits and project meetings
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and field staff
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a general contractor
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with projects in healthcare, education, industrial, commercial office, religious and civic
