Litigation Associate Attorney

A respected litigation-focused law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its expanding legal team. The firm represents businesses, insurers, and organizations in complex civil disputes and is known for its strategic advocacy and collaborative work environment. This opportunity offers hands-on litigation experience, meaningful case responsibility, and long-term professional development within a well-established and growing practice.

The Litigation Associate Attorney will support the management of civil litigation matters while working closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and deliver effective legal representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing civil litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Manage discovery including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Assist with trial preparation including witness preparation and exhibit coordination
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines
• Communicate with clients regarding case progress and legal strategy

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience drafting motions and managing discovery
• Deposition experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
• Active admission to the applicable state bar in good standing
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
