Position Title: Tax Manager

Location: Southwest Fort Worth, TX (In-office)

About the Opportunity

Our client in southwest Fort Worth known for close, long-lasting client relationships built over decades in the community. They offer a broad range of services including tax preparation, planning, and problem solving for individuals and businesses, small business accounting, payroll services, part-time CFO services, forensic accounting, elder care, and work with ministers, churches, and non-profits. This is an in-office, close-knit environment where personal relationships with clients come first.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Provide tax planning, problem-solving, and consulting services to a diverse client base
• Support small business accounting and payroll services for clients
• Assist with new business formation and related tax matters
• Work directly with clients to deliver a high level of personalized service
• Collaborate closely with a small, tenured team in a hands-on, in-office environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required
• 6+ years of public accounting or tax experience required
• Comfortable working full-time in office in southwest Fort Worth (no remote or hybrid flexibility)
• Strong technical foundation in individual and business tax preparation
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in a small firm, high-touch environment
