Loan Officer

Our client, a growth-oriented and strategically expanding financial institution, is seeking a Loan Officer to join its lending team. The Loan Officer will focus on originating and managing lending relationships while structuring tailored credit solutions and maintaining disciplined underwriting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate new commercial lending relationships across targeted markets
• Structure and negotiate loan terms including commercial real estate and business credit facilities
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk
• Prepare and present comprehensive credit packages to loan committee
• Manage client relationships throughout the lifecycle of each loan
• Monitor portfolio performance to ensure strong asset quality and compliance
• Collaborate with underwriting, credit, and operations teams to facilitate efficient closings
• Participate in networking and business development initiatives to expand market presence

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial lending experience within a banking or specialty finance environment
• Strong financial analysis and credit structuring skills
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow a loan portfolio
• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and lending guidelines
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently in a production-focused role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
