Associate Litigation Attorney

A well-established litigation firm is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to join its growing legal team. The firm represents businesses, insurers, and organizations in complex civil litigation matters and is known for its strategic approach to case management and courtroom advocacy. This opportunity offers hands-on litigation experience, meaningful responsibility early in matters, and long-term professional development within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.

The Associate Litigation Attorney will assist in managing cases from initial investigation through resolution while working closely with senior attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support civil litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Manage discovery including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Assist with trial preparation including witness preparation and exhibit management
• Communicate with clients regarding case updates and litigation strategy
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience drafting motions and managing discovery
• Deposition experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
• Active admission to the applicable state bar in good standing
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
