Mechanical Engineer

A specialized engineering and technical consulting firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support complex industrial and infrastructure projects. The Mechanical Engineer will support the design and execution of mechanical systems across a range of industrial and facility projects while working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems for industrial and infrastructure projects
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documentation
• Support HVAC, piping, and process system design efforts
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with engineering standards
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and process engineering teams
• Participate in site visits, field evaluations, and commissioning activities
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical system issues and developing solutions
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support project schedules

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial or facility design environments
• Experience with HVAC, piping, or process systems preferred
• Proficiency with mechanical design software and engineering documentation tools
• Strong understanding of applicable mechanical codes and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or progress toward licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
