Employment Law Attorney

A growing and client-focused law firm is seeking an Employment Law Attorney to support its expanding plaintiff-side employment practice, with a focus on individual and class action cases. The firm represents employees in workplace disputes, wage and hour claims, and other employment-related matters, providing strategic advocacy and practical legal guidance. This opportunity offers meaningful case responsibility, direct client engagement, and the ability to develop expertise within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.


The Employment Law Attorney will assist in managing litigation and class action matters while advocating for employees’ rights in complex workplace disputes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent individual clients and class members in employment-related litigation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research on federal and state employment laws, regulations, and case law
  • Manage discovery processes, including written discovery, document review, and class certification materials
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Advise clients on workplace rights, policies, and compliance issues from a plaintiff perspective
  • Assist with internal investigations and workplace dispute resolution
  • Support trial preparation including witness preparation and case strategy development
  • Collaborate on class action strategies and manage complex multi-plaintiff matters


Required Qualifications:

  • 2–7 years of experience practicing employment law, preferably with plaintiff-side or class action experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience drafting substantive motions, managing discovery, and handling litigation from inception through resolution
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws, including wage and hour, FEHA, and related claims
  • Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Active admission to the applicable state bar in good standing
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
