Senior Commercial Lender

Location: Frisco, TX

Position Overview

Our client, a well-respected bank with a strong relationship-driven culture, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join its team in the Frisco, Texas area. This individual will be responsible for originating and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial loans while serving as a visible and trusted banking partner within the local community.

The bank prides itself on true relationship banking and active community involvement. This role offers the opportunity to inherit a small portfolio immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and close a variety of commercial loans, including: Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Construction, and other related commercial credit products
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, real estate professionals, and community leaders
• Proactively generate new loan opportunities through networking, referrals, and community involvement
• Manage credit risk through sound underwriting, financial analysis, and ongoing portfolio monitoring
• Collaborate with credit administration and bank leadership to ensure loan quality and compliance
• Represent the bank at community events, civic organizations, and business functions

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial lending experience with demonstrated success in loan production
• Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Experience across CRE and C&I lending
• Strong underwriting, credit analysis, and risk management skills
• History of good career tenure and stability
• Active or demonstrated involvement in the community
