Project Executive

Our client, a highly respected and growth-driven commercial construction firm with a strong presence across its markets, is seeking a Project Executive to provide senior-level leadership across multiple large-scale projects. The organization is known for delivering complex commercial builds with precision, maintaining long-standing client relationships, and fostering a collaborative, performance-oriented culture. The Project Executive will oversee a portfolio of projects and project management teams, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction from pre-construction through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide executive oversight for multiple commercial construction projects
• Lead project managers and field leadership teams to ensure successful execution
• Oversee budgeting, cost controls, and overall financial performance of assigned projects
• Drive schedule adherence and risk mitigation strategies across project portfolios
• Maintain high-level client relationships and serve as an executive point of contact
• Support pre-construction efforts, including strategic planning and staffing allocation
• Review contracts, major change orders, and subcontractor agreements
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with progressive leadership responsibility
• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a General Contractor
• Demonstrated success overseeing multiple concurrent projects valued at $20MM+
• Background delivering projects throughout the Southeastern United States
• Experience supporting or leading business development efforts, particularly within the hospitality sector
• Strong understanding of construction delivery methods, contracts, cost controls, and project controls
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Willingness to travel as required to support project and client needs
