Senior Commercial Banker

A growth-focused and entrepreneurial banking platform is seeking a Senior Commercial Banker to expand its middle-market presence within the Dallas market. The Senior Commercial Banker will focus on originating and managing commercial lending relationships while serving as a strategic advisor to business owners and driving market growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and middle-market lending relationships
• Proactively originate commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate loan opportunities
• Structure and negotiate customized credit facilities including lines of credit, term loans, and owner-occupied real estate financing
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk
• Prepare and present comprehensive credit packages to loan committee
• Maintain ongoing portfolio monitoring to ensure strong asset quality and compliance
• Cross-sell treasury management and deposit solutions to deepen client relationships
• Participate in networking, referral development, and market expansion initiatives
• Collaborate with credit and operations teams to ensure efficient underwriting and closing

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of commercial lending experience within a banking environment
• Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting expertise
• Experience managing C&I and commercial real estate transactions
• Established presence or network within the Dallas business community preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to operate independently in a performance-driven setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
