Senior Construction Superintendent

Our client, a highly regarded and growth-focused commercial construction firm, is seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale and complex projects. The Senior Construction Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site leader, overseeing all field activities and ensuring successful project execution from mobilization through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily field operations on large commercial or institutional construction projects
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel
• Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules in collaboration with project management
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and OSHA compliance
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders
• Monitor quality control and enforce adherence to plans and specifications
• Identify and resolve site challenges related to scheduling, logistics, and manpower
• Oversee inspections, documentation, and final project closeout
• Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of superintendent experience in commercial or institutional construction
• Proven experience serving as Lead Superintendent on $100M+ K-12, Higher Education, or Municipal projects
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site coordination
• Demonstrated leadership managing multiple subcontractors and trades
• Deep understanding of job site safety protocols and compliance standards
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• OSHA certification preferred
