Labor and Employment Attorney

A well-established full-service law firm is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney to join its expanding practice. The firm represents businesses, public entities, and organizations in complex workplace matters and employment disputes, providing strategic counsel and strong advocacy. Known for its collaborative culture and diverse client base, this opportunity offers meaningful litigation experience, advisory responsibilities, and long-term professional growth within a respected legal platform.

The Labor and Employment Attorney will assist in managing employment-related litigation while advising clients on workplace compliance, policies, and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent employers in labor and employment litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings
• Conduct legal research and analyze employment law issues and regulatory requirements
• Manage discovery including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Advise clients on employment policies, workplace compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
• Assist with internal investigations and workplace disputes
• Support trial preparation including witness preparation and litigation strategy development

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of labor and employment law experience in a law firm environment
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience drafting substantive motions and managing discovery
• Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Deposition experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Active admission to the applicable state bar in good standing
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
