Business Banker

Our client, a well-established and community-focused financial institution with a strong regional presence, is seeking a Business Banker to join its growing commercial banking team. The bank is known for its relationship-driven approach, local decision-making structure, and commitment to supporting businesses across a range of industries. This opportunity offers the ability to build and manage a meaningful commercial portfolio while working within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

The Business Banker will serve as a trusted advisor to small and middle-market business clients, delivering tailored financial solutions and driving new business development while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a portfolio of business banking relationships
• Proactively source and originate new commercial lending opportunities
• Structure and present credit solutions including term loans, lines of credit, and treasury products
• Conduct financial analysis, cash flow analysis, and risk assessments
• Collaborate with credit and underwriting teams to facilitate loan approvals
• Cross-sell deposit, treasury management, and other banking services
• Maintain ongoing client relationships through regular outreach and strategic advisory conversations
• Participate in community and networking events to drive brand visibility and business development

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or business banking
• Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit structuring skills
• Knowledge of commercial lending regulations and underwriting processes
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
