Loan Officer

The Loan Officer will focus on originating and managing lending relationships while structuring tailored credit solutions and maintaining sound risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a portfolio of consumer and/or commercial lending relationships
• Proactively originate loan opportunities within the local market
• Structure and negotiate credit facilities in alignment with underwriting guidelines
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit data to assess risk
• Prepare and present loan packages for approval
• Monitor portfolio performance to ensure strong asset quality and compliance
• Maintain consistent client communication throughout the loan lifecycle
• Collaborate with credit and operations teams to facilitate timely closings
• Participate in community and business development initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of lending experience within a banking environment
• Strong financial analysis and underwriting skills
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business
• Solid understanding of lending regulations and compliance standards
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
