Project Manager – High-End Custom Residential Construction

A premier custom home builder specializing in high-end residential construction is seeking a Project Manager to support continued growth across its expanding project portfolio. This organization is known for delivering exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a highly client-focused building experience. Projects range from $500K to $10M+, offering exposure to complex, detail-driven custom homes.

Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming work, this is an immediate hiring need with the opportunity to play a key role in delivering luxury residential projects while working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of custom residential construction projects, with a strong emphasis on quality, communication, and execution. Most projects are managed individually, with occasional oversight of multiple smaller projects depending on size and proximity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ground-up, high-end custom residential projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, schedules, and daily site activities
• Maintain strict quality control standards with a focus on high-end finishes and craftsmanship
• Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and key deliverables
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead jobsite meetings and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders
• Utilize construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend or similar platforms) to track progress and documentation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing residential or commercial construction projects (custom home experience preferred)
• Proven ability to manage complex, detail-oriented builds
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Experience with scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field operations
• Familiarity with construction management software (Buildertrend or similar)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable with strong problem-solving ability
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required
• A detail-driven professional who thrives in high-end, quality-focused environments
