Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney


A growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join its expanding practice. The firm is dedicated to advocating for individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others and provides attorneys with the opportunity to handle meaningful cases while making a direct impact on clients’ lives. This position offers hands-on litigation experience, significant client interaction, and the ability to manage personal injury matters from initial intake through resolution within a collaborative and supportive legal environment.


The Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney will be responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury matters, developing case strategies, communicating with clients, and advocating for clients throughout all phases of litigation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage plaintiff personal injury matters from case evaluation through settlement or trial
  • Conduct client interviews, investigate claims, and evaluate liability and damages
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, and other legal documents
  • Handle written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
  • Take and defend depositions as appropriate
  • Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Develop case strategies and provide guidance regarding litigation approach
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and court procedures


Required Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury or civil litigation experience
  • Strong understanding of personal injury claims, liability analysis, and damages evaluation
  • Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Experience managing discovery and preparing litigation documents
  • Deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience preferred
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and client service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Active admission to the applicable state bar in good standing
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required
