Mechanical Engineer

A well-established engineering and construction services organization is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and execution of complex mechanical systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects. The Mechanical Engineer will support the development, design, and implementation of mechanical systems while working closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including HVAC and piping systems
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documentation
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and construction teams during project development
• Assist with system layouts, equipment selection, and performance analysis
• Participate in site visits, field assessments, and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot mechanical system issues and support project problem-solving efforts
• Maintain project documentation and support schedule coordination

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building systems, industrial, or construction-related environments
• Experience with HVAC, piping, or mechanical system design preferred
• Proficiency with mechanical design software and engineering documentation tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical codes and industry standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or progress toward licensure
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
