Civil Designer

A respected engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Civil Designer to support the planning and design of land development and infrastructure projects. The Civil Designer will assist with the preparation of construction drawings, site layouts, and design documentation while working closely with engineers and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare civil design plans and construction drawings for land development and infrastructure projects
• Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design
• Develop plan sets using CAD software in coordination with project engineers
• Review project specifications and ensure design accuracy and compliance
• Support preparation of technical documentation and design reports
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams during design development
• Revise drawings based on internal review and client feedback
• Maintain organized project files and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of civil design experience in an engineering or consulting environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software
• Experience supporting land development, grading, drainage, or utility design projects preferred
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design standards and drafting practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and design teams
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
