Construction Superintendent

A well-established construction organization with expanding operations in the Southeast is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to support its regional field leadership team. The company is recognized for delivering complex water and wastewater treatment projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. This opportunity offers full project oversight, leadership responsibility, and the ability to work on high-profile projects within a collaborative and growing organization.


The Construction Superintendent will oversee all aspects of field operations for water and wastewater treatment construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget compliance, and quality workmanship. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing craft labor, and communicating project milestones to clients and project managers. Immediate availability is required for this position in Duluth, GA.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work on heavy civil construction projects, specifically water/wastewater treatment sites
  • Direct all field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards
  • Manage daily operations of construction projects, including safety, compliance, and quality control
  • Create, maintain, and manage project schedules
  • Monitor budgets and control costs
  • Communicate project progress to clients and project managers
  • Coordinate subcontractors and manage construction site organization
  • Order materials and schedule inspections as needed
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new field staff
  • Prepare daily reports, timesheets, and other project documentation


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience with water/wastewater treatment plant projects
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge of project drawings, specifications, and regulatory construction standards
  • Proven ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to successfully complete projects on time and within budget
