Commercial Lines Account Manager

A growing and client-focused insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will work closely with producers, carriers, and clients to oversee policy servicing, renewals, and day-to-day account management while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
  • Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, and coverage changes
  • Review policies and coverage terms to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service and account support needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, underwriters, and clients
  • Assist with marketing and renewal strategy development
  • Prepare proposals, applications, and account documentation
  • Support claims coordination and client advocacy efforts as needed
  • Maintain accurate account records and ensure compliance with agency procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial lines insurance experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial property, casualty, and liability coverages
  • Experience servicing commercial accounts and managing policy renewals
  • Active insurance license required or ability to obtain promptly
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with agency management systems preferred
