Senior Construction Superintendent

Our client, a highly regarded and growth-oriented commercial construction firm with a strong presence in the Southeast, is seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex and high-profile projects. The organization is known for its quality craftsmanship, client-focused approach, and ability to deliver large-scale commercial builds across diverse sectors. The Senior Construction Superintendent will serve as the lead on-site authority, managing all phases of construction from mobilization through final delivery while ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily field operations on large-scale commercial construction projects
• Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors, trade partners, and site personnel
• Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules in collaboration with project management teams
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates to internal leadership and clients
• Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards
• Proactively identify and resolve scheduling, sequencing, and site challenges
• Oversee inspections, documentation, and successful project closeout
• Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field staff

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
• Demonstrated success serving as Lead Superintendent on $100M+ projects
• Experience in one or more of the following markets: Hotels, Mixed-Use, Industrial, Office, Multifamily (non-wood frame)
• Proven experience leading large, complex commercial projects from ground-up through completion
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics
• Demonstrated leadership managing multiple subcontractors and field teams
• Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to job site compliance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• OSHA certification required; additional safety credentials preferred
