Superintendent

Our client, a well-established and growth-focused commercial construction firm, is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations on projects in the Jacksonville, Florida market. The organization is known for delivering high-quality commercial builds, maintaining strong client relationships, and fostering a culture centered on safety, accountability, and execution excellence. The Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site leader, overseeing daily field activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations from mobilization through project completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Develop and maintain project schedules in partnership with project management
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders
• Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Identify and proactively resolve scheduling, sequencing, and site challenges
• Manage inspections, site logistics, and project documentation
• Support project closeout and turnover processes

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
• Proven track record managing ground-up or large-scale renovation projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination
• Experience leading subcontractors and managing multiple trades on-site
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and job site compliance
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA certification preferred
